Visa Percepts

Green Card

Once the work permit is lodged, the application should not take more than 5 weeks to be processed.

Work permit does not except the holder from visa requirements. It is the candidate who needs to check whether the visa is secured. Once the work permit is approved, the residence permit/visa will be issued. Depends on the nationality of the candidate, this can take from a few days to a few months.

If the candidate is a new recruit, and the position is not filled by the recent exclusion, the candidate need to show that he/she has made sufficient attempts to fill the vacancy with an EEA national. This will delay the application up to 5 weeks.

The first stage of the process includes the candidate to make an application for a temporary residence permit or visa through the candidate’s local Royal Holland embassy. This could be an exceptional if the candidate is from EU countries like Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the United States or Canada. Then a work permit application can be lodged on your behalf at the Regional Employment Board (RBA). RBA will approve it and passes it to the National Employment Board who makes the final decision.

Separate employment office will be there to consider highly-skilled IT professional work permit applications. After the work permit gets approved, Embassy will issue the residence permit.  The candidate may then go to the Holland and start working.
