The students must have completed higher secondary schooling or pre-university education and gained a passing certificate of GCE O level examination from Singapore or an equivalent qualification of minimum 12 years of schooling from an overseas country for applying in the undergraduate courses.
To apply for postgraduate studies, students need to complete minimum 3-4 years of undergraduate studies depending on the future for a master’s degree program or a doctoral degree. For those seeking an MBA holding a bachelor’s degree added with work experience is a must. Students must be well versed in reading, writing, speaking, and listening English.
The academic session in Singapore universities commences in August. The candidates are advised to arrive two weeks before it commences. They should start with the course and university 6 months prior to the date of closing. The time can be utilized for preparation, clearing a few examinations, making financial and accommodation arrangements, and acquiring student’s pass. Students can explore the university website and request for mailing a brochure. Queries can be answered by mail or telephone.
All application forms can be downloaded from the university website or can be sought by mail. Some universities/institutions only accept online completion application form. Priority is accorded to candidates who submit the applications ahead of the closing dates.
Students intending to seek admission in Singapore have to take a competitive examination, conducted and evaluated by the university and score well.
GMAT: Students are required to appear for it for MBA postgraduate course.
